Description

This specimen features one of the geologically unique geodes cut into half for the display of its fineness grain and colorful formation of the Chalcedony. The external side is rough and spherical. The display side is not polished.

A solid interior of chalcedony and filled with the more well-known brown “stick agate” on the edges and an internal fortification agate zoned from opaque yellow-brown to clear translucent in the center. Nice example with translucent agate throughout.
