Description

This specimen features a distinctive apophyllite complete stalactite formation with blue-gray chalcedony stalks that form the core of the stalactite. The gray-blue chalcedony stalactite is densely covered with intergrown, delicate, and gem-quality apophyllite crystals. The prism and very acute dipyramid form this uncommon aesthetic stalactitic grouping of clear apophyllite. This apophyllite has been repaired on one of the stalactites due to breakage in the extraction process from the quarry in November 2022.
