Description

This listing features a set of 4pcs saturated purple and white banded chevron amethyst (bottom part of an Auralite 23 raw stone. They are partially translucent with a hardness of scale 7.

This unique crystal has been called by many names, including Auralite, Thunder Bay Amethyst, Kindred Spirit Stone, and Super 23. It is, in fact, basically an Amethyst with multiple inclusions. It is said that Auralite contains upward of 23 elements. Still, many contain at least seventeen: Titanite, Cacoxenite, Lepidocrosite, Ajoite, Hematite (which gives Auralite it’s red coloring), Magnetite, Pyrite, Goethite, Pyrolusite, Gold, Silver, Platinum, Nickel, Copper, Iron, Limonite, Sphalerite, Covellite, Chalcopyrite, Gialite, Epidote, Bornite and Rutile.
